Information

GRCC’s Construction Electrical Apprenticeship is an educational program for those employees working under a licensed journeyman or master electrician who want to meet the required related training instruction (RTI) hours established by the Department of Labor.

Our Mike Holt certified craft instructors teach courses using the nationally recognized code-based curriculum from Mike Holt Electrical Training & Exam Prep. Students are expected to have access to a computer and to have fundamental computer skills, including how to email, navigate the internet and use Microsoft Word.

GRCC is the preferred educator for electrical apprentices. Through GRCC’s School of Workforce Development, the Construction Trades Electrical Apprenticeship program is geared toward people who want to begin or advance their careers in the construction electrical industry and for electrical contractors who want to train their existing employees.
