WMCI’s Fall Protection Training is a one-day, 4.5 hour course that provides invaluable training, skills, and knowledge to ensure employees understand risk and make it home safely.

Course objectives:
By the end of the workshop, each employee will be able to recognize the hazards of falling and will understand the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards.
Core Topics:
Each employee will understand:
- The nature of fall hazards in the work area.
- The correct procedures for erecting, maintaining, disassembling, and inspecting the fall protection systems to be used.
- The use and operation of guardrail systems, personal fall arrest systems, safety net systems, warning line systems.
- The correct procedures for the handling and storage of equipment and materials and the erection of overhead protection.
- The standards contained in this subpart.

- The difference between fall arrest/restraint.
- The proper steps to take to establish a fall protection system when there may not be anything in place, as in open and unprotected roof lines.
- The dangers of 6’ lanyard in a boom lift.
- Using roof anchors with appropriate fasteners into substrates.
