West Michigan Construction Institute is hosting its 4th annual middle school summer camp. In this high-energy experience, Middle School students get the chance to explore the world of construction through hands-on activities about the trades.

The West Michigan Construction Institute is inviting middle school students entering grades 6-8 to attend the WMCI construction summer camp!

Learn, construct, and create in a wide range of construction trades like carpentry, plumbing, concrete, and more!

Who is it for?

Students entering grades 6-8. 

When is it?

The 2026 middle school construction camp will be held over the course of two days: 

  • June 17: 9AM - 4PM
  • June 18: 9AM - 4PM

Where is it?

Right here at the West Michigan Construction Institute: 801 Century Ave SW, Grand Rapids

Is Lunch Provided?

Students will need to bring their own lunch each day. Some snacks will be provided.

How much does it cost?

$161.9 - includes snacks, camp shirt, and safety gear.

Dress Code

Campers must wear long pants and closed-toed shoes to camp every day. This is a safety requirement when working on a construction site. If your child does not arrive in long pants and closed-toed shoes, they will be sent home to change.
