Fueling the Future of the Trades

The future is under construction. By investing in students today, you’re helping create the builders, leaders, and innovators who will shape tomorrow’s world. October is Careers in Construction Month, started by NCCER to raise awareness about the wide range of career opportunities in the construction industry and to celebrate the people who build our communities.

This month, we ask that you help WMCI construct the future by reaching our goal of $10,000 total raised in the month of October!

Curious to see what WMCI has been up to this year?

"We support WMCI because at one point we were the "next generation" in need of an organization that poured into us the knowledge, talents, wisdom and energy that was needed to make a career in the construction industry. The next generation needs that same commitment, energy and passion from those who have walked that path before them."

What do WMCI donations support?

The West Michigan Construction Institute relies on the generous donations from our supporters to achieve it’s mission of “preparing the next generation of construction professionals for lifelong careers.”

Since opening our doors 3.5 years ago, our high school and adult craft student bodies have quintupled and tripled respectively! This means that more tools, books, and other supplies are needed to support the needs of our growing student body. In addition, WMCI also uses donations to create scholarship programs so that our courses are accessible to a wider, and often under-served, population.
