This scholarship awards one student full tuition and fees for one academic year (for one craft course) at the West Michigan Construction Institute. 

1. Applicant must be pursuing post-secondary education and training in a skilled trades program.
2. Scholarship must be used to attend WMCI for one of the specific craft training programs being offered at time of enrollment.
3. The scholarships will be awarded to a student who may or may not have financial need. Recipient of scholarship must adhere to all WMCI policies and procedures. Failure to do so may result in loss of scholarship.
4. Award is restricted to one year and must be used in the academic year following the announcement of the recipient.
5. Applicant must submit two completed Applicant Reference Forms (provided in Scholarship Application packet) with their scholarship application to WMCI. These references should provide insight into the applicant’s character and accomplishments and must be from non-relatives. The Applicant Reference Forms provided must be used for the references. No other reference letters will be accepted.
6. Applicant must submit a completed and signed application form to WMCI.

All materials required for this scholarship (application form, transcripts, reference forms) must be received by WMCI no later than 12:00pm, Friday, July 18, 2025.

Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

Applicants will be notified of award status by Friday, August 1, 2025.
